A Maryland Venue for All Things German
The goal of the GACC is to support and enhance the cultural, educational, historical, and other events, activities, and heritage of the German American community in Maryland. Zion and the GACC have entered into a 15 year lease of the building formerly referred to as the Sexton’s House with the GACC committed to renovating the presently vacant property. The building is over one hundred years old and is in desperate need of repair. The GACC contracted Murphy and Dittenhafer Architects to complete the design study. In order to bring the GACC rendering to life and meet the vision and mission of the GACC, as well as building code and ADA requirements, the GACC will need to raise $500,000 to complete the project.
